COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN
We primarily work with developers who operate in the small multifamily, light commercial, and light industrial sectors to develop their assets. Whether seeking site plan approval, planning board approval, or completing the full set of stamped engineering drawings, we are able to help you accomplish your task. BUILDING & HOME STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS
We inspect and examine existing structures for both engineering soundness and compliance with municipal and state code requirements.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN & MASTER PLANNING
Sustainability is directly incorporated into all of our projects. With expertise, experience, and professional certification in sustainable design, we can provide insights to ensure your project incorporates the latest passive and active sustainable features. We have a LEED Accredited Professional in-house who can work to certify your project to the silver, gold, or platinum standard of your choice.
ENGINEERING PLANS / LAYOUTS
We produce industry-standard engineering plans and layouts for submittal to local municipalities for permit approval. Our products are thoroughly reviewed and approved by a design professional in accordance with New York State Building Code and associated regulations.
RESIDENTAL SEPTIC SYSTEM DESIGN & REPAIR
In addition to our residential design services, we complete all infrastructure design in-house. This includes the percolation tests, design of a new septic system, and approval requirements for your town or county. We inspect and repair septics for homeowners frequently and can help you work through any issues you have with design and permitting. We recommend skilled contractors to perform the work for your consideration.
PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD CONSULTATION
If you need to go before a town board or are starting discussions with your building department, please give us a call. We work with numerous departments, agencies, and boards throughout our service area to communicate and get projects approved. As the engineer and planners, we provide a one-package solution to expedite your approval package and clear up any issues you have with the municipality. We do this for all our clients including residential, commercial, and light industrial.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND STORMWATER ENGINEERING
As a function of our land development team, we provide engineering services to identify environmental constraints such as DEC wetlands and USACE waterbodies to ensure project approvals. In addition, we design and mitigate the effects of uncontrolled stormwater on both the project site and the environment. We can provide hydrological studies, stormwater assessments, and erosion control and mitigation plans to meet the requirements of the New York Department of Environmental Conservation regulations.
